About Snagger
Snagger is an independent guide to deals, cashback and everyday savings in India. We read the terms,
do the arithmetic and publish what we actually find — including when the answer is that an offer is not
worth the effort.
What we do
Most writing about offers is produced by whoever benefits when you accept them. Headline rates get quoted,
caps and exclusions do not. We work the other way round: the conditions attached to an offer usually matter
more than the number on the banner, so that is where our guides spend their time.
- Deals and offers — what a promotion actually pays once the fine print is counted.
- Cashback and rewards — how reward programmes pay out, when they do not, and why claims get rejected.
- Shopping guides — buying decisions, price patterns and timing.
- Earning and reward apps — what these apps pay, and what they cost in time, data and attention.
- Payments and UPI — payment problems, refunds and the offers attached to payment methods.
How we stay independent
We do not accept payment for coverage, placement or a favourable mention. We do not run offers of our own,
we do not take deposits, and we hold no accounts on anyone’s behalf. Nothing on this site is a referral
arrangement dressed up as a guide.
That independence is also the limit of what we can promise. We are not the retailer, the bank or the app.
We cannot approve your claim, release your cashback or resolve a dispute on your behalf.
What we cannot promise
Offers in India change constantly, often without notice and often without the published terms being updated
at the same time. A guide that was accurate when written can be out of date within weeks. We date our articles
and revise them where it matters, but the current terms on the retailer or app always take precedence over
anything you read here. Check them before you act.
